Training mental health and equine professionals in trauma and relationship focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

Through the Relationship Logic program we use the psychology of the horse to address the psychology of the human. We utilize the developing relationship with the horse to help clients recognize and enhance relationship patterns and to process through past and present trauma as it surfaces. Through the Rhythmic Riding program we use the physiology of the horse to address the physiology of the human. We use the rhythmic, patterned, repetitive nature of mounted work and music to reorganize and heal the traumatized brain and to build skills for self-regulation. We train mental health and equine professionals to use both the Relationship Logic and the Rhythmic Riding programs to work with at-risk youth,veterans and their families, parents,foster parents and families, and adults in crisis.
