Dave will reveal important information regarding common ethics violations such as conflicting business interests, abuses of office, unwarranted privileges, incompatibility of offices, post-employment restrictions, representation prohibitions and nepotism. Participants will learn about the circumstances that lead to ethical lapses in judgment and gain valuable insights regarding the dangers of gifts, favoritism and impaired objectivity. There is a review of ethics complaint case history and class participation exercises.
