I am highly unsatisfied with how Blue Door has handled my property. I listed my home through this company after someone recommended them. The company has no interest in hearing about my experience, making anything right or even acknowledging their errors so I'll lay them out for prospective customers. There are extensive email chains of my concerns since January 2024 if the owner of this company would like to review for herself. Once tenants were in, I had to ask for parts of my package that were guaranteed. I had no guidance as to how the exterior inspections went (if they were even done), and had to ask for the results of the interior inspection. My point of contact changed three times, with each person being new and inexperienced to answer my basic questions. My HOA is paid quarterly and the company forgot to pay it for the first two billings under management, creating interest charges and late fees. Thank goodness I caught the error and notified them each time. Upon the tenants leaving, I chose not to renew my contract with Blue Door. I was then told I was responsible for the final walk through. This was a part of what I paid for, and later was told that was a mistake by one of their new hires. Blue Door paid the final HOA bill but did not specify my account, so this check has been missing for 3 months now. That amount will not be refunded to me even though I am not to blame for their inability to write a check to the correct account. I am concerned with my cash flow statement and when I questioned the numbers, received a vague response. I am now paying a professional to review these documents to see how they came up with numbers that do not match, and may need to pursue legal action for anyone to pay attention. Unless you'd like to pay a huge amount each month to do all of the administrative work yourself still, I suggest you find a new company or do it yourself. My workload has lessened by managing my property myself.
