Thrift shop reselling new and used donated items. The Wamego United Methodist Women's Thrift Shop resells new and used donated items. Volunteers associated with the Wamego United Methodist Church sort and sell the merchandise. Inventory includes clothing for all ages and sizes, shoes, bedding, linens, drapries, jewelry, books/magazines, collectibles, fabric, seasonal and crafting items, and an array of nicknacks. The shelves and racks are added to daily. Seasonally (biannually) all merchandise is liquidated and the inventory is completely changed. Due to space limitations, the Thrift Shop cannot accept large pieces of furniture, large appliances or computers. Donations are accepted during hours of operation. Donation receipts are available upon request. Proceeds from the Thrift Shop support UMW missions locally and globally.
