It was Sunday evening when I felt pain on the back of my head and neck, I knew something was wrong; such pain was different and uncommon to me. Since I have high blood pressure I decided to check, and for my surprise it was 192. I decided to take a walk hoping that the number would come down. I came back home and it was still high. I went to bed and I couldn’t sleep well; the pain that I was having woke me up early in the morning. I checked my blood pressure once more and this time it was 200. My wife insisted that I should visit Dr. Zen Matsuda. On my way to his office the pain increased. When we arrived there, Dr. Zen started to treat me and my blood pressure lowered immediately. Dr. Zen treated me very well and told me that I should go to the hospital to seek urgent help for my heart. At the hospital they did an angioplasty and put a stent in one of my blood vessels. I never had a heart attack before and I didn’t know the symptoms of a heart attack. If I had decided to stay home that Monday morning probably I would have died. Dr. Zen was an angel that God has sent to me to keep me alive, to calm me down and explain to me what was going on with my heart. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Zen for his care and love for the well being of those who seek his help.
