I had to wait 6 hours for a tow. I called on Tuesday, ahead of time, for a tow on Friday. Upon calling in Tuesday, I was informed that I should call two hours ahead of time on Friday. Thus, I called 4 hours ahead of time on Friday, to give them even more of a heads-up. Upon calling to see where they were every hour or two hours after they failed to arrive at their given time (with a four hour notice), I was given attitude at times from what appeared to be a notion that I was bothering them. I was informed that they were on their way, for six hours. After finally arriving, they picked my car up and towed it. The tow drivers were nice people, but then they went the wrong direction. I understand that people make mistakes so I called to inform the service desk individual of this error. He spoke to me as if I was wrong for calling him. The drivers then turned around and dropped off the vehicle. Prior to the drivers picking up the vehicle, the individual said that I was in for a nice surprise when payment came around. For six hours of waiting after giving them a four hour notice prior, I Was charged $75. A complete discount for the miles but a flat rate for the towing service in-general. For the record, I am an extremely patient guy and maybe too nice at times. It was only after five hours that I called to cancel. Luckily, I had a friend with me and we talked for six hours. Upon the five hour mark, it took them an extra hour to drive 2 miles (this is how far the service individual said that they were from me). I recommend being upfront. I am unaware of whether or not they had prior stops before me. If this was the case, then they could’ve informed me; however, like a hot date just trying to get a meal ticket, they led me on for five hours. Luckily I’m married but if you’re going to screw me, at least kiss me first...geez.
