I rolled in here after a brow appt around the corner and had time to spare. Asked for a 30 min massage (sign said $40) and they asked for payment right away. First red flag. Charged an extra $3 (no explanation for what), then I write Cash on the tip line. Girl points it out: no tip? I said I tip after a service. I'll pay cash. Massage happens. Nothing amazing, some rubbing, heavy hot stones.. and then her phone rings and she stops the massage to ANSWER IT. I say to myself, ugh she doesn't deserve it but I'll still tip 20%. After the massage, I walk out of the room, hand her a 20 and ask for $12 back. $8 on a $40 massage. 20%. She says 5 back? 10? I repeat myself. She fights me on the amount! I contend that it's 20% and that's the standard tip amount for service. She angrily takes my 20 in the back for a few mins before finally coming back and throwing a $10 bill and 2 dollar bills on the desk crumpled up. As I'm picking it up she yells "and don't come back!"
