We are an aquaculture facility growing coral for the aquarium industry.

The Cultured Reef was founded in 1996 in Madison, WI as a retail outlet for "reef ready" acrylic aquariums and support related equipment. Since our beginning our goal was to begin growing live coral for the saltwater aquarium hobby. By so doing, we could help reduce the demand put on natural reefs. In 2005 we moved our operation to Fort Pierce, FL and built our aquaculture facility.
