Always love Magnuson Hotel!! I was in Port Allen, LA visiting family. This hotel was found through Expedia. I had never stayed in a Magnuson Hotel and did know what to expect. This hotel is just minutes from downtown Baton Rouge. It is a Fresh hotel. The rooms had a modern sleek feel. There is a fridge and microwave in each room which is a nice bonus. I looked the tile on the bathroom floor. The hotel had the feel of an upscale hotel at budget prices.. There is a breakfast in the morning which was Delicious and Tasty. Comfy beds, plenty of pillows, cool a/c and TV. Finding a nice hotel has always been a problem as most of them are old and dated. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
