Midcoast Maine's home for Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate. We offer classes for ages 4 through adult. Condition Orange Defense Academy is school of modern martial arts training. Our motto, "Honor, Protection, Evolution" epitomizes the philosophy of CODA. Although based in Ed Parker's American Kenpo, we strive to continue to study and modify our methods to make them as effective and relevant to today's world as possible. Our children's classes are designed to offer a safe structured introduction to the martial arts, focusing on helping children improve self-confidence and esteem, instill respect and discipline, and have fun. Martial arts training is an excellent experience for children as they must work hard on their own to improve and advance in rank. What they get out of it is solely based on what they put into it.
