Dr. Berndt authored over 80 papers on psychology related topics. This Charleston licensed clinical psychologist maintains a SC psychotherapy practice. Someone who will be there for you, withot an agenda. Clinical Psychologist David Berndt has written or presented over 80 papers in the field of psychology. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago, training psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers before moving to the Carolinas. He also directed the Behavioral Health Department of the Cherokee Indians in NC before relocating, eventually to South Carolina. Currently Dr. Berndt has a therapy practice in downtown Charleston, SC and uses a variety of methods to aid the client with solving problems like: Eating Disorders and Bulimia, Couples and Relationship Problems, Depression, Anxiety, and Panic Attacks, PTSD and Trauma, Self Esteem and Social Skills, Divorce, Grief and Bereavement
