I had three carpenters come to my home for quotes. They were all pleasant enough but Joe stood out for his knowledge and kindness. We had two outside entry doors replaced as well as a storm door. I've used Caron Construction (Joe) over the years and his work has declined over the past 2+ years. The latest was construction of a tree house for my daughter which he quoted would be done within 12-14 days. He asked for more than half the money up front and then didn't show up for a week. Then he would come once a week for a few hours. 12 weeks (not days) it was still incomplete and very very poor quality. Nails sticking out everywhere. The railing was unsafe and had nails sticking out. The railing tilted forward and would not support even a 3 year old leaning against it. He walked out on the job took 90% of the money and ever returned. He left his equipment here and everything, I would not recommend him at all!!!!!!!!! He would show up at my house at 8:00pm looking like he was on something requesting additional money because of some pathetic story. Stay as far away from this company as you can!!!!!!!! He tries to cut corners and to this day my daughter cannot use the tree house because it is unsafe and incomplete and very poor quality. See you in Court!!!!!!!
