SUPER TROUBLE general contractor Roy Couvertier, the owner of Extreme Makeovers (license # 895397)! We encountered surprises with paramount of troubles/issues for our home renovation project. Top 3 Issues: 1. FRAUD in advertisement for being BBB accredited and HGTV associated while NOT. 2. SCAM to gain advance payment for the work that did NOT delivered. 3. DECEIT on materials, project progress & status and a series of lies to squeeze more money from homeowner (e.g. made up change order), and workers (illegal, thrifty, unreliable, sloppy, lazy non-license subcontractors). Example of IMPACT we encountered: - Unfinished project that required us the hassle to get other contractors to complete. - Cost to our family life to deal with Roy ‘s series of lies, scam, fraud, legal issue and large lump sum of dollars; not to mention living under unsafely construction zone for over a year. - Stolen items from our home.s Be aware when dealing with Roy, check his contractor license with CSLB before doing any business!
