The Southeastern Bigfoot Research Group is a volunteer organization, of amateur and professional researchers, studying the Bigfoot phenomenon.

The mission of the Southeastern Bigfoot Research Group, is to make an informed inquiry into the possibility that the creature known as "Bigfoot" is an extant unrecognized species of bipedal primate, roaming the wilderness areas of North America. We will do this by responding to and documenting witness statements, interviewing those witnesses and collecting corroborative evidence when and where possible, or offer an alternative interpretation. With access to an extensive scientific network of researchers, we can draw from a wide range of specialties including biology, anthropology, primatology and environmental science, to take an interdisciplinary approach addressing the potential evidence, and then pursuing that evidence wherever it leads us without prejudice.
