The Martin's Famous Barbeque sauce is a recipe handed down through the generations since in the 1850's in Barnesville Ga. the late Cleofas Martin gave the recipe to George Martin sometime in the 1940's who began marketing the sauce to the surrounding area along with running a bar-b-que stand. Upon his passing in 1979 his wife Vivian Martin sold the recipe to Sam Pelt of High Falls Ga.
