Bed & Breakfast - kind of - with its back to National Forest, a view all the way to Nevada and stunning Upper Lake, Surprise Valley inbetween.

"Kind of" because the thought of expecting guests to join me for breakfast just sounds wrong. Instead, I provide all the ingredients (very generously) and equipment for guests to make whatever the hearts desire for breakfast and eat it whenever and wherever their hearts desire. This includes homemade bread still warm from the oven, jam from our own fruit trees, whatever is available and in season in our huge garden. Although the Cottage is near the main house it boasts its own shady garde...

Although the Cottage is near the main house it boasts its own shady garden, porch and deck, a bridge over Miller Creek to a private parking space. The kitchen is specifically equipped for people who like to cook. Private bathroom, television, games, magazines, books, music and free wifi makes for an independent and comfortable stay in our glorious Surprise Valley.
