We, in essence, become the rubbish and recycling department for the company to help keep overhead costs down. Personal background ... My background in the waste industry spans 25 years. I started back in the mid-1980's (after 6 years of professional basketball overseas) by working as a helper on a rear load rubbish truck before opening a waste and recycling company with my father in Washington, DC called Cliff & Sons in 1992. Prior to opening DMV Solid Waste Consulting, I worked with Goode Companies, Inc. in Hyattsville, MD serving as the Regional Marketing & Sales Manager from 2008-2010 and overseeing the waste services of more than 1,200 retail and residential locations across the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to my many years of experience in the solid waste field, I attended college and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from South University.
