River Rock Management is a fraudulent, scam and thieving company of the highest order. They did not pay us for a completed $2700 paint job, stole money from us, broke contract on more than one occasion unapologetically, and according to one of our workers, they also were racist and abusive to them when the workers had a polite question. Let's start from the beginning. First, they hired our company to do a paint job for one of their "clients" (but they, River Rock Management, were the ones paying). They would not give us the customer's contact information. That should have been my first clue- but I was trusting. Second, they agreed to pay for paint originally (it was clearly in writing, in plain english, in the contract), and then they pulled a bait-and-switch the day of, refusing to pay for paint, and even screaming at me and my workers and threatening us. I ended up paying for paint out of my own pocket, for a job I hadn't even received a dollar on yet. Second clue, but again I was trusting. The price was only $2700 for ceiling walls trim and doors of an entire townhouse, so it wasn't like the price was at all unreasonable, FYI. No reasonable person would expect paint to be included in that price anyway, and it was clearly worded "customer pays for all paint and primer". Third, when the project was completed to satisfaction, they refused to render us a check, even though the contract specifically stated "Payment is same day as satisfied completion, no exceptions".
