We had an appt feb 11 2019 with Linda; she entered the information into her computer while we there and told us that she would finish in about a Week or so. Beginning the end of February, I began calling once a week. The story was the same each time- it was on the “finish” pile and would be ready soon. By the end of march, I was calling every two days. On April 11, I told her I was coming to get my documents. Suddenly, the story was that they had lost two staff and were backlogged, but I should not worry- we would not need to file an extension- as we owed money. Ps- the new firm completed the return in 2 business days and we filed on time.
