We started as Lakeshore Bait & Tackle in 2005. We've evolved into much more than that by adding firearms in 2007. In 2008 we doubled the size of our retail space and in 2010 we changed our name to Lakeshore Sports. In February of 2012 we added a knives & cutlery department that includes outdoor survival gear and medical kits. We are veteran owned and have veteran employees. This is a family business that has strived to become part of the fabric of the community we serve.

Lakeshore Sports is owned & operated by Bob Rider a Federal Firearms Licensee & retired police office. They have hunting, fishing & shooting supplies including live bait. They have a good selection of custom knifes. The shops is clean, well light & they have a good selection of firearms. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous & always ready to answer any questions. They have many very good instructional courses available & Bob does firearms repair onsite as well as factory warranty. An overall great experience.

As a resident of Clearlake Highlands/ City of Clearlake since 1965 and as a retired Lake County Deputy and former Mayor of the City of Clearlake I have enjoyed becoming a patron and purchaser from Lakeshore Sports! Bob and his staff are knowledgeable and sell quality sporting goods. I find them all to be willing to go "The extra mile" to make the purchaser happy and they always have had what I requested in stock or were willing to order it for me. I highly recommend this local business for all your sporting gear needs! Bring your family, it's worth the trip!

Lakeshore Sports is a great shop. I have purchased firearms, bait & knives from Bob's shop over the years. Bob and his staff are very knowledgeable & always friendly. The shop is stocked with a generous selection of firearms & knives at fair prices. Stop in at Lakeshore Sports, you won't be disappointed!
