The Owner of TangierTours, Abdelhamid Idrissi Kaitouni, not only was the BEST private guide we have EVER had, but since our trip in Nov, he has remained a great friend to me and my family! He was about 15 minutes eary for our scheduled pick up, which we appreciated his call that he was there and ready for us. he gave us an all day personal tour of the WHOLE Tangier! He knew places & details of historical sites that were off the beaten track. We learned about Morocco, the culture and what the locals like to do. We enjoyed eating at some of the BEST local authentic food, We enjoyed his humor and respect for our desires! Abdel graciously went [above and beyond] for us! Morocco is about nature, history, pleasure and art, but you might miss it if you're in a tangle of maps with one hand on the steering wheel listening to confusing directions from the GPS. You'll miss it if you spend valuable travel time anxiously thumbing back and forth through heavy paperback guidebooks to find the perfect restaurant, hotel or scenic vista.
By engaging Abdel as our guide on a recent seven-day tour of Morocco, four friends and I were able to make leisurely walks through outdoor markets, linger over dinner in leafy restaurant gardens and explore the art and history of ancient hill towns at our own pace. Abdel's knowledge, patience and flexibility juggled confusing travel details; changes in weather or our changing plans for the day. he took us behind the scenes, introduced us to local artisans and helped us with laundromats, pharmacies, packaging gifts and more. We credit TangierTour's easygoing manner and expertise for giving us lasting memories of the best of Morocco.

“Casablanca Port Call Day Trip”

We were three families with kids (5-16yrs) making a cruise port stop. We booked ahead of time via their website. The price for our size group was cheaper than doing the cruise excursion. Our driver and our guide were FANTASTIC! Idrissi and his driver met us at the ship in a 16 passenger air conditioned van. Idrissi spoke very good English and was very happy and proud to show us around Casablanca. We saw much more than we would have on our own or via the cruise excursion. Plus, I felt much safer with a local. Idrissi suggested places for us to see, but also listened to our needs/wants. When we needed a bathroom break for the kids he immediately found a nice café. While we used the restroom he ordered tea for us. Idrissi also found a Starbucks for us (collectors mugs). We toured the mosque, Presidential Palace, the Casbah and more. I highly recommend Tangier Tours, and especially Idrissi!!! By the end of the day it felt like we were saying good bye to a friend!
