We found rock solid because we saw their big yellow mixers. We got tired of being blown off by the bigger companies because we don't pour 300 yards a day like they want. Most of our jobs are smaller so it's been hard to get concrete at reasonable times. But it's not like that with rock solid. The owner personally oversees the deliveries. And he comes out to the job to make sure things look good. And to make sure we are happy with the concrete and service. And I can honestly say in 35years of pouring concrete everyday I have NEVER had the owner of any ready mix company come to my jobs for feedback. I guess that's what separates them from their competition. I will continue to use them for that reason. They give pretty decent prices too. A little more than I've paid in the past. But the service and quality of the concrete makes up for that. They use a pure Portland mix. Not that slag that these other companies use. And other finishers will tell you the same way- a pure Portland mix is much better finishing. And the end result is much better. My recommendation to anyone needing concrete is to try these guys out.
