Journeying along highway 87 through North Central Montana, travelers pass through vistas of open prairie wheat fields bordered by beautiful mountain ranges and an endless blue sky. While keeping a sharp eye out for glimpses of coyotes, antelope, or pheasant, many are surprised by the sight of a bright yellow sign with a chicken pointing the way up a gravel road to the wheat farm that is home to the Quilting Hen.
