Eastside Distilling was founded in Portland, Oregon by Bill Adams and Lenny Gotter, two long-time friends with a passion for distilled spirits. The pair started from the ground-up, developing their recipes and company mission in 2008 and then in 2009, they launched the first in a series of fine and flavored rums under the name Deco.
