Your location The Farmhouse Coffee & Espresso Bar 115 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 Coffee shop Nancy Lorenz 63 points a minute ago Letter to educate the owner I believe that you are probably a hard working man trying to service your community while doing your part to keeping people safe. With that being said let me educate you. I am a nurse with a back ground in critical care. I'd like you to think about this. You have people sitting in your establishment not wearing a mask and your employees are serving them less then 6 ft apart. Why would you not serve a customer in there car not wearing a mask? Your employees I'm sure have a mask on correct? Please explain the logic. Many people with chronic lung issues as well as people with anxiety and PTSD can not wear masksI My husband is a veteran and defended our country for 16 years as a Marine. Today he was refused service at your window. You discriminated against a man who defended your freedom and protected your family because of his medical condition. When he tried to explain his condition he was told no mask no service at the window. How does this make sense? I recognize that everyone has been so programmed with fear that they no longer think for themselves. Yes this virus is real and precautions should still be taken. But they have to make sense. No one has the right to try and control other people that are doing nothing but trying to get a cup of coffee. Life is short. Wash your hands, take precautions that make sense and LIVE A GOOD LIFE. What truly amazes me is that people are so quick to pass judgement and treat others so horribly without realizing that you don't know what your talking about or this persons circumstance. Listen it's your business but understand the guy at your window today served and protected America and is a member of our community too. And he possess less of a risk then that customer eating with out their masks. There are many places in our community that will serve my husband coffee at their window. Maybe we should all concentrate on learning to think for our selves and stop being sheep.
