Atabal is a Puerto Rican tropical music orchestra that offers you a modern take on plena, bomba, salsa and other Caribbean rhythms. Their most recent single is a plena-merengue "De Playa en Playa" and their cd "Soneros en la Plena" also integrated salsa and rap singers giving the plena a new dimension without losing their own traditional/modern sound. Atabal with its unique style has visited major US cities from New York to Washington D.C.
