Avon was founded in 1886, and has been coined the company for women. It is the leading direct-seller of beauty products in the world. After losing my government contracting job in December 2011, just 3 weeks after graduating from college, my husband and I decided that I would be a stay-at-home mom with my 2 year old son, 3 year old daughter, and 8 year old daughter. This is one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had to do, but I have to admit, I missed the interaction with adults and making my own money. After some months, I thought I'd give Avon a try. After all, I've used their products for years and believe in their products, and the social causes they support. It's only been 4 campaigns, but I am gaining customers, sales, and confidence. I've always wanted to have my own business, now I do. I look forward to the future with Avon, and helping others do the same.
