I needed bird seed and my Aunt Betty recommended Old Bob's. I had never been there before, and I was impressed. I must have looked like I was lost, and the proprietor came over and I thought he was going to throw me out of the store. But he turned out to be the most helpful guy. He even asked what kind of birds I was trying to attract, and I didn't know. But I described them and he must have given me the right seed because the finches are going crazy in my yard. Finches. That's what they are. Now I know. And it was thanks to old bobs. They have a lot of other stuff in there too, and I didn't know they built barns. I'm thinking about getting one for my back yard. Have been a customer for about 20 years, never disappointed. This is the kind of store I remember as a child, a large variety of goods and services and the same friendly faces. I have even stopped in just to chat over coffee. Not enough of these places left on the strip mall strip.
