I brought my 5 & 7 year old daughter and son to Woody's coz they r starting school and they are very bashful and peaceful , it was giving me nightmares all the horror stories we hear every day about bullying and I thought they can help. they did just that , my kids are transformed and evolved into this confident strong and happy kids. Woody and his assistant Dona are very professional yet friendly and welcoming. the kids don't even know they are being commanded by the instructors , they think they are having fun and playing , yet they watch them closely , if a a child got a little bit excited or aggressive he is stopped immediately, without embarrassing him , they instruct him to ''play nicely'' the classes are 2-3 a week , for 45 minutes , very affordable (25 $ a child ) they offer three free trial classes to make sure your kid is a good fit for this sport before you commit and buy the gi which could be a bit expensive and wasted if your kid didn't like Judo . the facility is very clean , less than a year old , and well maintained , nice location in a nice and safe neighborhood. they have adults classes too, they host self defense seminar for women . to sum it up , this place empower prepare and educate your children yet believe it or not entertain them . my kids cant wait to go to the class. I have nothing but good things to say about this place so much it made me feel good about myself as a parent coz I found this place for my kids .I highly recommend it.
