All of the wood is harvested in the mid-west and then the farmers plant new trees in their place which makes this element 100% renewable as well. We like that! Why did we choose to use soy wax for our candles? It's pretty simple. We think that soy is just the best choice. Paraffin is the number one wax used by candle manufacturers globally. We don't like paraffin because it's a petroleum product and supports big oil, it's dirty (ever seen that nasty black stuff around the mouth of your candle?), and it doesn't last as long. Soy wax is 100% renewable, produced by American farmers, burns cleaner than paraffin, and lasts a whole lot longer. We also think it smells better. There's other options out there, but they are not as affordable and certainly don't smell as nice! That is why we chose soy wax for our candles.
