Great business for finding rare and heritage chicken breeds!

John at Lancaster Fancy Fowl has been a wonderful resource for high quality, healthy chicks. He answered all my questions about which breed would be best suited for our backyard flock. We got Buff Orpingtons, Speckled Sussex and Barred Rocks, all are doing well. His birds are raised on organic feed in a healthy environment. John is friendly and polite, and knowledgeable about the great breeds that they carry. It's important to me to support local businesses, I'm so happy to have found this great family business!

BEWARE - I can not recommend this business - new owner (Michael Hudak) and our order has not been filled since Jan 2016 and he disputes the paypal refund every time. Even though he promised us a refund over a month ago. No birds/no refund! However, he was still taking orders after this, knowing he could not fulfill them. Many people are still waiting, Michael Hudak, for their orders or refunds!!!!
Go to the fb page, or reviews or the BEWARE page and read about it before you send this company your hard earned money. I am not just talking $5 here I ordered juvies at the tune of $110!
I do understand they had a storm and lost birds, but at the same time why are they still taking orders they can not fulfill and why not send back the refunds! I think most of us have been patient enough. I wanted my juvies here in April before the hot weather and to integrate them while I was home - not while I was on vacation or while the heat index is 100 degrees and up in TX.
