He realized after speaking with many families that purchasing the appropriate R-value for various areas of your home was not common knowledge. He also realized the only option for the average home owner is to purchase insulation is from a big box retailers which sell their product at extravagant prices. Andrew set out to change all that and create a resource to purchase insulation at a reasonable price and educate people on how to install it themselves, the right way. This began the birth of Insulation Surplus.
