I started making slipcovers to help raise money for the adoption of our 5th daughter. During this time, I discovered that I truly love the art of creating slipcovers. It is so satisfying to take a piece of furniture that would have, most likely, been thrown away and make it beautiful again. I am a self-taught sewer learning new techniques everyday.
