We're a Family Owned Pilot Car Service based out of Wheeling, WV near I-70, I-77 & I-79. We usually operate 10 to 12 cars at most times. Hi Pole - Lead - Chase - Traffic Control - Rig Moves Washington State Certified / Insured 1M - 2M Serving - Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania & Maryland We also do "Long Distance Runs"  as needed. Guiding Oversized Loads safely to there destination. A pilot car service for all types Oversized Loads, Heavy Equipment moves and Oil & Gas Rigs being transported throughout the Marcellus & Utica Shale regions. We also do traffic control. Pilot car companies are an important part of the heavy haul trucking industry. These experienced driving professionals ensure that trucks that are transporting oversized and overweight equipment reach their destination safely and within the bounds of the various state transportation laws. The pilot car driver travels in front of or behind the truck in a separate vehicle, warning the public if there are traffic changes due to the truckload. They also warn the truck if there is anything up ahead that can interfere with its safe passage.
