John lifted our house a couple years ago and put in a foundation. He was supposed to bring a door for the foundation cover, and has yet to do so. We've called and left several messages and he doesn't return our calls. He left a big pile of cement in the front of the yard, wanted to take some bricks and lumber, and didn't do any clean-up, nor did he move back the dirt that he had to remove to get under the house. My front and side yard is now very uneven and I will have to pay to get it fixed. He also took things that were found under the house (coins, old tonka trucks etc). If I do a contract with anyone again I would make sure that it is in the contract that anything on the property is the owner's, and that the cleanup is the responsibility of the company. That being said, he did an excellent job on lifting the house, our house was built in 1863 and had several additions and a porch to deal with, and he did an ok job on the foundation, it's not perfect but it will hold.
