The community is a licensed 72-bed assisted living & memory care community designed and specially staffed to accommodate seniors who require daily supervision or personal assistance, but who do not need the complex medical attention provided by a nursing home. Family owned and operated our goal is to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our residents and to offer their loved ones a little more peace of mind. Croatan Village offers the largest two room assisted living suites in the area in addition to spacious private or companion suites with a private bath and individual temperature controls in each room. Each suite and bathroom is also equipped with an emergency call system should the resident require immediate attention 24-hours a day. Assisted living residents are offered assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, transferring, medication management and other personal task. Personalized Service Plans are developed on each resident to meet their changing medical needs and assure they are receiving the appropriate level of services to maintain the highest quality of life possible. Even the menus and snacks are carefully planned by a registered dietitian, to be nutritionally complete as well as appetizing and delicious.
