Do not. Repeat DO NOT trust Daniel M. Rodriguez and / or South Texas Hardwood Floors to do perform any services for you! We hired him to do 1600 feet of flooring in a home we had vacated, hoping that our $5400 upgrade would help us in selling the house. Daniel got 50% up front and then started the work. After seeing completing some of the job, he asked for the balance so that he could pay "his guys." His father was the only helper I ever saw on the job, but he got his money in full. After payment, the work stopped-- NOT ONE ROOM FINISHED. Time and time again he said he would finish the job, then blamed a pending divorce for the delay, That was THREE YEARS AGO-- we never heard from him again, and it cost us an additional $1700 to have someone else finish the job as well as months of delay (and thus, mortgage payments) before we could sell the house. This guy belongs in jail!
