Our Services Active Parenting Workshops Workshops will provide parents with opportunities to share their parenting experiences and allow for parents to hear other parents’ perspectives. Workshops are designed to present parents with information supported by current research and help parents learn new skills necessary for raising healthy, responsible, resilient, confident, and well-balanced children. Parenting on Purpose, a 12 -week parenting skill building course. Research strongly links both risk and protective factors for children and adolescents to the family environment. The quality of parenting can effect and shape child's development and behavior for a lifetime. Therefore, parenting education can be instrumental in saving lives, preserving families, reducing crime, and improving educational results for our children. Life Changes Mentoring Program West Motivations is a firm believer that mentoring changes lives! Adult role models can help to enrich youth’s lives, as well as their own through weekly interaction. The goals is not only to expose youth to everyday societal problems, but also to strengthen and empower their minds, spirit and self. Through the Life Changes Mentoring Program, the mentors try to instill in each youth the fact that personal success is tangible.
