Childhood struggles of these kinds, once observed only in a small number of youngsters, are now becoming the new norm for many of our children today. This is what has moved me to develop these unique, holistically-based programs focused on helping not only the children, but also those who care for them: their parents and teachers.
My first-hand experience and the most up-to-date research show that the root cause of many childhood difficulties are often eliminated or significantly reduced when the child’s Sensory (vestibular, visual, auditory, tactile, proprioceptive), Developmental, and/or Neurological systems are properly acknowledged and strengthened.
What is so important about this is that strengthening these systems makes many of the traditional approaches that parents are offered when they first desperately seek answers—medication, stricter discipline, counseling, tutoring—unnecessary. While sometimes these methodologies can be appropriate; it is essential to equip your child with the basic foundational development first. Qualitative, measurable change and lasting results happen faster and the entire process is much more effective when the child has a strong foundation upon which to build.
TruRhythm utilizes a conglomerate of holistic, revolutionary, innovative programs that you will not find anywhere else in Texas. Our gifted therapists and specialists focus on each child's unique obstacles, skillfully synchronizing your child's TruRhythm through individualized attention in a playful, fun, non-clinical environment.
TruRhythm fosters healthy, holistic growth so your child can experience greater ease, joy, self-esteem, and confidence in the home, classroom, and larger community.
When is the best time for TruRhythm? The ideal window is between 3 and 12 years of age, as this is an optimal time frame for brain neuroplasticity. Foundational gaps can be addressed more easily when the child is younger; however, significant progress can still occur in teenagers and young adults with our Advanced Program.
