Linda Denis is a USPTA certified Pro who studied with Dennis Van Der Meer, USPTR, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She owned and operated the Ad-In Kids tennis program (children 3-8) for over 20 years. Linda Denis is a USPTA certified Pro who studied with Dennis Van Der Meer, USPTR, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She owned and operated the Ad-In Kids tennis program (children 3-8) for over 20 years. Since Linda has a true passion for teaching kids tennis and an unparalleled affection for the sport, it wasn’t long before she was teaching kids tennis in New York City, New Jersey and many of the surrounding areas. Early in her kids tennis teaching career, Linda worked for the National Jr Tennis League in Brooklyn and she also managed the Great American Tennis Club in Greenwich Village. Linda pioneered the kids tennis teaching market. She headed up the first Children’s Tennis Program for kids age 4-8 at Central Park Tennis in New York City where she further developed her methods and techniques. Not only was she the first to take her program indoors into preschools, summer camps and elementary schools in her Ad-in Kids tennis program, but she was the first to open her classes to 3 year olds. Here Linda was able to teach kids tennis and reach children who had never been exposed to the sport before. Through the years her drills, methods and techniques have been tried and true to create a successful and fun learning experience for kids. She was even written up in The New York Times and seen on TV for her kids tennis teaching efforts.
