I wasn’t opposed to the idea of hiring locksmiths, it’s just that I’ve had terrible experiences with them in the past. I rather opted to do things on my own, when my lock went bust one day.. after all, how hard could it be to install a lock? But I figured out how wrong I was. After buying a lock at the hardware store and struggling to install it for nearly two hours, I gave up. Based on a friend’s suggestion, I reluctantly called Capitol Locksmith Service. Surprisingly, they managed to alter my notion. Quick, friendly, professional and affordable, I couldn’t ask for more. Wish I’d called them earlier and avoided all that hassle. I’d just evicted a tenant and needed the lock changed. When I called them up on 978-673-5003 and asked them to help me install a new lock I’d purchased from the nearby hardware shop, little did I expect them to get there so fast. I think the technician arrived in about ten minutes! Wow, that was super quick! Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from Capitol Locksmith Service told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property. I couldn’t believe it! I’d just paid $100 for it, and Eric dismissed it as something completely useless. That’s when he explained how a DIY rekeyable lock wasn’t great for security. If you could do it, anyone could do it – that’s what he said! He had a point! I planned on returning the lock. Eric suggested that I rekey the existing the lock, which I did! Thanks to Eric and his entire team at Capitol Locksmith Service for helping me out! You guys surely are the best in Sudbury, MA!! Would I recommend them? YES!

Thanks Capitol Locksmith Service ! The man has glowing reviews for a reason - because his service is professional, efficient & on-top-of-it. This was one of the only sites that quotes prices upfront - check. Dan presented options w/ no pressure - check. He does the job w/ a smile & a sense of humor - check. The service is top notch & that's what what matters the most. I will recommend Capitol Locksmith Service to anyone and everyone. Dan has a wide range of locks and will explain the differences in price points and features -- it's up to you to pick the one you want. I ended up with the deadbolt for the simple fact that I can take it with me.
