Last Saturday I had a appointment with General Locksmith Store to replace my dead bolts on my two security gates. The technician who came to my door (I'm sorry I forgot his name!) was prompt and friendly. As promised he came within the 9-10 am window (he came exactly at 9:30am). He had a great rapport, chatting me up about my dogs which was nice. He was friendly and had great customer service! When the new lock on one of the security gates interfered with the lock on the door, he made sure that all the locks were functioning properly and made sure all the holes were aligned so everything fit perfectly. My husband and I moved into an older home and did not have all the keys to it; we needed to have our house re-keyed. Just bought a house and needed the locks re-keyed. I called at 5:15 in the evening to General Locksmith Store and Mike happened to be in the area so we met at the property at 6.00 PM He was in and out quickly and even gave me some great advice about the type of locks that are on the doors.

There was a mix-up in the day of my appointment for a new lock, so Danny came that evening instead of the morning and gave me 50% off. He also told me the lock mechanism itself was perfectly solid and that rather than an extra lock, I only needed a new cylinder for security. That goes to show how honest he is because it meant it was cheaper for me and less money in his pockets. To add to all that, Danny is a super nice guy and was even great with my barky dog. In fact, when I asked if he accepted tips, he told me he donates them to Animal Haven. Awesome! You've really got to be good to mix-up the appointment and yet still get 5 stars. Now I've got a fancy pick-resistant lock, more sense of security, and one of the most pleasant experiences with a Mission , MO company ever. My wife lost the key and fob to my car. This was the 4th business I called to get a quote to come out and reprogram a key and key fob. Dave came out within 45 minutes of my call. He quickly got to work and asked if I wanted the key fob as well and showed me the same type I had before. The whole service was about half of what the 3 other places quoted me.
