Catalpa will pretty much have something for everyone with some Latin flare and some Italian dishes.
Catalpa Kitchen, now open at 2800 W. Logan Blvd., will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but will have more of a mass appeal. There's a full bar with beer on tap, and will also do cold-pressed juices for the health conscious. It's also for the adventurous -- juices can be livened up with a shot of tequila. Catalpa will seat about 50 inside, with a large, private patio with seating for about 40 outdoors. There's an open kitchen and a casual feel, with reclaimed wood for a vintage vibe.
