The National Dangerous Animal Task Force (NDATF) has a vital mission: to provide government agencies with less-lethal capturing and relocation of aggressive or dangerous animals. This requires the dedication of our Agents that range from certified animal control officers, law enforcement officers and other emergency response personnel. Our duties are wide-ranging, and our goal is clear - keeping animals safe as well as the public. The National Dangerous Animal Task Force (NDATF) Agents educate people about animals in disasters that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills as well as offering a specialized K9 search and rescue team if needed. NDATF Agents can assist these agencies following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. NDATF Agents also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their area. Our goal is to provide a service to all government agencies; to give them support with aggressive or dangerous animals during disasters and effectiveness in a complacent society.
