Dr. Omar Ahmed did residencies in neurology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. He was a research fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he studied nerve regeneration using evoked potentials. Dr Ahmed received his MD from the Medical College of Ohio and MBA from Cornell University. He earned BA and BS degrees cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
