Scott Karosa’s job is far from the ordinary. In his own words, he “makes a living solving other people’s problems”. Yes, they are almost always the financial kind. And no, it’s not always a walk in the park. Scott has had his share of brickbats and unjustified criticisms. But in his genuine determination and brilliance, and bolstered by his genuine ability to thrive in the midst of great challenges, he has been able to do more for the greater good. Scott does not hold down an often uneventful day job. He is the Chairman and CEO of four different companies namely: TSM, which he has headed since October 1986; Tri-Star Management, LLC, which he has led since March 1989; All American Home Mortgage, which he has run since 2003; and Physicians Financial Services, LLC, which he has expertly directed since August 2009. Aside from handling his high-profile corporate leadership responsibilities, Scott Karosa is the Chairman of a non-profit organization, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. The organization is the only youth service provider in Nevada with an unchanging and undiminished continuum of care ranging from street outreach and 24-hour crisis intervention services and on to a full-time drop-in center and an independent living program precisely tailored for Nevada’s homeless youth. Impressive as it may seem, the work that Scott and the organization have been doing has not made this simple-at-heart individual any less humble or caring. Scott Karosa served at the Intelligence Division of the United States Marine Corps from 1976 until 1979.
