Dr. Keshet graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha Society). She completed an ophthalmology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center and then sub-specialized in Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and External Diseases at the Tufts Medical Center, Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Over the years, Dr. Keshet participated as an investigator in numerous research studies and clinical trials and has often presented lectures at national conferences. She is Director of Cornea at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center and is on the medical advisory board of the New York Eye Bank for Sight Restoration. She was awarded the annual "Outstanding teacher" award by her residents in 2013. She is an active speaker in the optometric COPE talks and is always available for consultation by phone or in writing.
She continues to be involved in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgeons, and the New York Ophthalmological Society. Her appointments include New York Eye Infirmary, Manhattan Eye Ear Nose and Throat Hospital/Long Island Jewish, St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospitals, and Mount Sinai Medical Centers.
She speaks Spanish, French, and Hebrew.
