Therapy and counseling can provide relief and personal growth for people seeking positive changes in their lives. It is helpful, especially during difficult times, to have an objective, compassionate professional who will focus on your strengths and abilities using solution-focused brief counseling in a confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Most people go through some difficult periods, and it has been my experience that individuals can benefit greatly from outside help as they work through life's challenges. Counseling offers people the opportunity to explore and understand the nature of their concerns, and quickly move toward positive change, less distress and happier lives.
I am a dedicated and experienced social worker, with over 20 years of counseling experience. I've worked with many different age groups, from young children to the elderly, and assisted clients with a wide range of issues. I have experience working in outpatient, transitional, inpatient and crisis services and with a wide range of populations including the specialization of children diagnosed with AD/HD, abuse & trauma victims of all ages, and couples - who arrived ready to divorce - and who learned to love, communicate and respect each other again.
