The PINK Breast Center in Paterson is a fully accredited "Breast Imaging Center of Excellence" and offers: * State-of-the-art Digital Mammography. * All Ultrasound exams, including high risk and exams for kids and men. * Bone Density exams. * Breast Biopsies. PINK mammography is faster, more comfortable and uses 30% less radiation than other digital mammography systems. Dr. Sheppard and her staff of technologists formerly practiced at the Women's Imaging Center in Flemington. The American Cancer Society recommends all women have a yearly mammogram beginning at age 40. Caught early, breast cancer can be very treatable. History Established in 2008. Dr. Sheppard started PINK Breast Center in Paterson NJ in 2008. Dr. Sheppard and her staff of technologists, who practiced in Flemington at the Women's Mammography Center until 2012, opened PINK Flemington in 2012. Now, both sites (Flemington and Paterson) are fully accredited. The American College of Radiology has further designated each site as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Together, they see over 1000 patients each month.
