Five Gait Stables is home to championship Saddlebreds and Hackney Ponies, located in beautiful Tampa, Florida. Our well-appointed facility is a small slice of paradise conveniently located just five minutes from Tampa International Airport and approximately 30 minutes from St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Bradenton. At Five Gait Stables, our desire is to inspire. Whether you wish to show, to train, or to simply appreciate the company of horses through riding lessons, our goal is to foster a lifelong connection to horses through the experience we share. We specialize in American Saddlebreds and Hackney ponies. Several five-gaited as well as three-gaited show horses call Five Gait Stables home. We’re also accomplished Hackney pony driving trainers. We offer services for other breeds including Arabians and Morgans, training in saddleseat, driving and western. Five Gait Stables is a full service facility. Five Gait Stables has Saddlebreds in training for customers locally, regionally and nationally. We specialize in teaming horses with people here and across the country. Whether you’re a newcomer to the horse industry, someone returning to the horses after time away or a long-time breeder of Saddlebreds or Hackney’s, we’d love to work with you. From academy instruction and selecting your first show horse, to developing your young prospect, campaigning your performance horse, or making the next step up — we’ll happily guide you through it all.
